2008 veni, vedi, vici.

I was doing a reading some of my old blogs and I realized that this blogging shit is very good therapy. Having a snapshot of your thoughts at a give point in time. The year was what it was. Twas a very progressive year for me. Learn a lot about myself and I'm really trying to reach out and help my fellow man. Went to NY in July, made progress in school. I've been a good son, good brother, good husband. Have not been a very good friend I must admit. Something always suffers. The year is coming to a close and I have no regrets. There were somethings I would have done differently but that is a two year old decision coming home to roost (message to self, don't try to do God's work).

Onward to 09.

07.07.07 - Lucky my ass.

This was the day my friend got killed. Murdered by thugs who did not come for him. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time, helping the wrong people to put an engine in a van. So what is lucky about that day. I was at home got the call and made a few calls to confirm. I will never forget that day. Still crying... Wha yuh go do? eh.

Hi there, hello....

Ok ok. So I have not posted in a while. That does not mean that there is nothing to post. It just means I am busy out of my ass. Exams are over now. I tell you I did an exam this week and after it felt like my girl leave me or my best friend betray me or something. Not saying that these things will affect me, but just so that there is something you can relate it to. I saw 300 this week and I am in awe. That movie was nice man. Well now that school is out I will be stocking up on my movies. I am yet to see The Departed.. Hopefully I will soon. All in all life is good. Can't complain, won't complain.

Change of scenery

I just changed the look and feel of the blog and I like it so far. Few updates, the trip to St. Kitts is now the trip to Grenada. I have now been living in my new home almost a year. Oh how time flies. When you realize how fast time moves you realize how easy it is to waste time. I'm trying my best right now not to waste any. Oh and yes since last September I have been a student of USC which is great for me. I was wondering what it would be like to be a student again. I would wonder about if I would be able to keep up, I'm doing a good job so far. I'm also in the process of setting up a company, that is going well, things are really coming together. Pretty soon I will get my supplies direct from Miami, no more middle man. Married life is cool, I think we have the synergy going. It is the time of cricket world cup in the West Indies. I expect my team to win, die hard fan that I am. I will let you know how it goes..

Since the last time I posted. I got married went to St. Lucia went back to school. What can I say? Life is good. Lot more ups than down and I intend to keep it that. Looking forward to a St. Kitts. On the local from Larry Achong cussing people in Chatam big and bold on TV. And by the way F.... You. ha ha. Don't shoot me, I'm just the messenger.

Soca not Soccer you @ss

Well it's been a long time since I posted. Since that time a lot has happened. The Lion roared once more. I should be hung from a tree. The Soca Warriors have given me hope once more to believe that even in an unjust world, David can and will always beat Goliath. No matter what no matter when with God as your ally, You will win. That is my comfort through all my many failures. I am still a friend of God.
